“That which I dare to dream, I do” is the mantra that Roufie, the Ivory Coast born owner of Afrik Trends, has lived by. As a wife and mother of three young boys, her life is busy, but her love for styling natural hair, along with the desire for entrepreneurship, helped launch this University of Memphis International Business major into opening her own salon and online business. The Memphis, TN based business specializes in braids, weaves, locs, twists, and overall natural hair care. Having specialized in natural hair care for over two decades, she decided to expand her business to include sales of African fashions and accessories.
Roufie’s goal is not just to attract clientele through offering quality products and services, but to keep them coming back because of the friendly atmosphere and great customer service. Afrik Trend’s affordable fashions, accessories and natural hair care services are Roufie’s way of bringing the Motherland to Memphis!
