Do I need to make an appointment ? Yes, services are performed by appointment only.  We will service walk-ins if possible, it's best to call for availability before coming to the shop.   How much do these services cost? It all depends on your hair length & the size of your head; the following are estimates... Cornrows: 2-5 hours Micro Braids: 6-8 hours Invisible Braids: 4- 8 hours Twists (Extensions): 4-8 hours Single Braids: 4-8 hours Sewn-in Weave: 1-3 hours Feel free to bring pillows, movies, to make yourself as comfortable as possible. Do you braid short hair? Yes!  If it is long enough to pinch, we can braid it. How Long Can I keep my braids ? I don't recommend wearing braids for more than two months.  When braids are worn for a long period of time, your hair starts to lock  , which can cause excessive breakage when the hair is combed out. How should I maintain my braids to keep them fresh and neat? I recommend a wet  shampoo at least once a month or a dry shampoo every two weeks . Avoid heavy petroleum creams on braids and scalp, they create build-up and attract dust and dirt.  Spray your scalp with a leave-in conditioner daily or as needed. Also avoid oil sheen on the scalp, the alcohol dries the scalp, use a natural oil instead. What forms of payment do you take? Cash is best!  we accept most major credit cards .  Sorry, no personal checks. What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment? If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please call ahead of time.  I would appreciate a 24-48 hours notice.   Almost all of the services we provide take many hours, sometimes an entire day.  If you are a  no call no show, a deposit is required on your next appointment and there is a $20 fee. When you make your appointment, be sure the day & time work best for you.
